Warning - To those slackers and lazy people like me, this walk is very torture heehehe. Just to think back about the trip already makes me too tired to describe the walk I did from MacRitchie Reservoir to the HSBC Tree Top Walk and back again. Total of about 10km trip thru nature. I first read about them in the National Geographic magazine September 2002 edition. Meerkats are very fascinating. They are very cooperative mammals. I went to Changi Beach to catch the flying display and also trying to catch some shots. There are only two fighter jets flying display, I didnt try to snap any of the F-16C Falcon but managed to get a bit of the F-15C Eagle and also the new super huge Airbus A380. Seems most people have bad things to say about Norton Anti Virus, - makes the computer slow, expensive, cannot detect this and that, near impossible to uninstall.. but I have no problem at all. I have been using Norton all along and it helps me a lot. Just bought the original version. It will last for 12 months, just about $5 a month. I think $5 a month is a valuable investment. No point in getting the best computers if we are so calculative in getting a proper antivirus software. Just norton antivirus and lavasoft ad-aware free program is enough for me. Its worse than entering back Singapore from Johor Bahru. You have to dig out all your stuffs, and subject yourself to a detailed body scan using some hand held device. The most pathetic thing I saw was this Chinese guy in long sleeved. I think he was from his office, and the security guy even touch his sleeve's cuff or whatever it is? isnt that pathetic? its just a bloody rock concert, I wonder, if its a piano show, or a saxophone show, will the security perform this level of checks? I dont think so.... ok ok enough of the negativeness. So the ticket says the show will began at 8pm, but no...... the lights are on, the audience are still streaming in and moving about. Received three sms from different friends late last night, all with the same message, another friend of ours just got terminated at work. Seems it had something to do with his number of mc's and hospitalization issues. From the bottom of my heart, I think it all depends on his immediate supervisors and also his head of department or whatever its called in various organisations. If they like you, you can be the worse worker with the most notorious pathetic job etiquette  and you will still have a job, even promotions and bonuses especially if you know how to suck up to the boss, but if they dont like you, then life is hell. To think that my friend has a stable job, unlike so many people nowadays working on contract terms, with no protection from the bosses whims, and yet he got terminated for non disciplinary issues. The live version of this song on Live In Budokan really touch me. It is sort of my song of hope. Comes with a superb packaging complete with a 16 page full color booklet. Besides the dvd, there is an additional cd featuring the audio of the same concert, with an addition of one song. J-O-U-R-N-E-Y. Who have listened to Journey and doesn’t like them? They have songs for everyone. Heavy , faster ones, and also beautiful slow ballads, I think they are one of my top 10 favourite bands of all time. The band is still around now, but minus Steve Perry. I have listened to some of their newer songs and live versions of old songs, they sound great, the new singer Steve Augerli ( don’t know the spelling ) sounds like a Steve Perry clone, but the old Journey during their pop-rock era of the 80s are still the best. This is a dvd taken from some long lost footage in the early days of MTV. Seems this is one of the first live concerts recorded for MTV broadcast back in early 1982.
