In my hands, the very very very rare, out of print cd single for Bring Your Daughter... To The Slaughter..
Released during Christmas period 1990 in Britain, and hitting the number one POP SINGLE CHARTS!!..The most unbelievable thing ever to happen to Maiden , no radio airplay, but the song hits number one just because of the amount of the singles bought by the fans that week. It helps that Maiden released I believed six different packagings for vinyls , and each one sold contribute seperately to the charts rankings.
Etched in history, this is the very first number one British pop single of the 90s, and the only time Maiden ever had a number one pop single "SNIGGER". Its very funny really. This makes this single a really valuable item.
This cd single is very sought after by millions of Maiden fans all around the world, and after much effort in hunting down one, and paying a king's ransom. I got one at last..YAHOO!!!
I remember being still at school back in 1991, and there was the cd single ( Japanese pressing ) being sold at Far East Plaza for about $20, and I cant afford it...and to think that after about 15 years later, I at last managed to get a copy , albeit a non-mint copy, is sort of a dream come true.
So , If I can only get the rarest of the rare cd single ever released by Maiden " Wasting Love". I think I would kiss my mother LOL!!!!!!
