I really like this small animal called the meerkat. I first read about them in the National Geographic magazine September 2002 edition. Meerkats are very fascinating. They are very cooperative mammals. They have a sort of a sentry on duty at all times while the rest relax or find food. Its very nice that they can be found at the Singapore Zoo.
