Before I forget - If you want to make this trip, try to make it on a weekday or when there's no crowd. Preferably no one else.. It is so much better.. Warning - To those slackers and lazy people like me, this walk is very torture heehehe.
Just to think back about the trip already makes me too tired to describe the walk I did from MacRitchie Reservoir to the HSBC Tree Top Walk and back again. Total of about 10km trip thru nature. Here is a description from the website - http://www.nparks.gov.sg/nparks_cms/display_level2.asp?parkid=8&catid=9 The HSBC TreeTop Walk (HSBC TTW) is the highlight of several long hiking routes in MacRitchie that brings you through different stages of mature secondary forest. The first of its kind in Singapore and in the region, this free-standing suspension bridge connects the two highest points (Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang) in MacRitchie and offers a bird’s eye view of the community of plants and animals that live in the forest canopy. The total length of the walkway is about 250m and its height from the forest floor varies, with the highest point at 27m.
